B2B marketing membership · a buyer’s guide

B2B marketing membership: which one, at what price

A B2B marketing membership buys a marketer, or a whole team, some mix of qualifications, training, research, events and a peer network. Prices run from £70 a year for a student to tens of thousands for a team programme.

We compare four UK options on their published prices, so you can match what you pay to what you actually need. We are not affiliated with any of them.

03/ Chartered Marketer

Chartered status needs a CIM grade and CPD.

Chartered Marketer is awarded by CIM. You need a graded membership (Associate or above), two years of recorded CPD, and an online assessment unless you hold a Level 7 marketing qualification (Regulated Professions Register, Chartered Marketer; UK government register).

CIM’s individual grades are £255 (Associate), £287 (Member) and £331 (Fellow) a year at its Global Standard rate, with lower rates in some regions (CIM membership).

04/ getting sign-off

How to get a membership signed off.

How much does a B2B marketing membership cost?

From published prices on 22 October 2026: CIM £70 to £331 a year by grade; The Marketing Society from £495 plus VAT and a £145 joining fee; DMA Professional Membership £295 a year; Propolis from £4,995 a year for a team of up to ten.
